Skyward SMS Antifraud v1.4: Concatenated SMS Verification and Performance Boost
Skyward introduces the new version of its flagship product - Skyward SMS Antifraud (SSA) v1.4. Designed for SMS providers, the solution performs real-time verification of incoming SMS traffic, detecting and blocking fraud including phishing, gambling, and AIT. The update adds support for concatenated SMS message verification and doubles system performance.
Our operational experience and understanding of SMS industry trends have driven SSA's functional development. A key innovation is the ability to analyze concatenated messages, which account for 5-10% of SMS traffic. According to carrier reports, fraudsters increasingly use such messages to distribute phishing requests. The enhanced algorithms now perform comprehensive message analysis, enabling more accurate fraud detection.
As spam sources continue to expand geographically, SSA v1.4 has verified 15 new destinations using large data samples. These include European countries such as Sweden, Poland, Norway, Italy, Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic, along with several African countries. Accounting for regional specifics has enhanced malicious traffic detection precision.
Architectural optimizations have doubled system performance. Where a single module previously handled 40-45 messages per second (MPS), it now processes 80-90 MPS. This enables clients to scale their solutions with reduced costs. Meanwhile, cloud technology integration allows for virtually unlimited scalability.
A significant enhancement is the confirmed geo-redundancy capability. SSA modules can be deployed across not only different servers and data centers, but also different countries. This improves system resilience while ensuring GDPR compliance.
