Skyward starts implementing Scrum in all service teams

Other News
Employees of Skyward participated in the Scrum training held by the CEO Sergey Losev. The initiative was aimed to introduce a new approach that will help engineering teams work systematically on customer service improvement and facilitate cooperation between team members.

The training was based on a popular Scrum guide developed by Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland. It covered an overview of the Agile principles as well as a detailed study of the Scrum artifacts and ceremonies. The theoretical knowledge was put to practice by performing training exercises. All participants, divided into working groups, learnt how to fill in the product backlog, act on behalf of Scrum roles and organize Scrum events. Following the results of the training, all employees passed an open assessment test at Scrum.org.

Previously, the implementation of Scrum was not unified and was limited to one project only. The systematic approach elaborated during the training enables team leaders to use the agile process framework on a company-wide level. Scrum will work as part of the continuous improvement system, practiced in Skyward since 2015.
